Thanks for the feedback. I agree that Mauritania would be an excelent and tragicomical subject for applying Wittgeinsteins ruler to the EFI. I opted for Saudia Arabia simply becourse I felt its fame/notoriety made it a clearer demonstration of the incongruity between real-life economic freedom and EFI score. I considered adding more examples, but felt that it would slow down the pace if the piece too much.
